The ADAC TotalEnergies 24-hour race at the Nürburgring is one of the biggest motorsport events in the world. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people follow the race on site or on screen. The supporting series also guarantee excitement and great entertainment year after year. Many automotive legends such as Porsche 911 RSR, DTM classics BMW M3 and Mercedes-Benz 190E Evo II and many widened Ford Escort could be admired at the ADAC 24h-Classics. Another legend, our DMSB-A instructor Martin Dose, was at the wheel of a BMW 323i Group 2 at the classic race and managed to score a podium finish in his class.
Many club members were also represented in the starting field for the main race. Thomas Kiefer, who competed in a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992), gained his first racetrack experience with us in the optimised VW Polo, then became an instructor and subsequently switched to professional endurance racing. Team Sorg Rennsport was able to achieve third place in class with its BMW 330i (cover picture). I wonder if the participation with the car in the Pistenclub track day on the Nürburg GP track a week earlier was helpful there?
Congratulations to all club members and of course to all other participants, as well as to Team Frikadelli Racing for the overall victory!
No problem, every year we offer several dates on the GP track and the Nordschleife.
