The Salzburgring is a racing circuit in Austria that was opened in 1969. It is located in the so-called Nesselgraben between Koppl and Plainfeld, not far away from Salzburg, the Mozart city. Surrounded by extensive woodland, sheep pastures and gentle hills, the course is a true paradise for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts. Its natural terraces are unique, offering a breathtaking view over the racetrack due to their raised position. The Salzburgring is approximately 4.2 kilometers long, includes 12 curves and is a very fast and technically challenging route. Due to increasingly stringent safety requirements for motor sport events, the course has been modified several times over the past years. Among other things, chicanes were created to reduce the extremely high speeds that can be reached, along with larger run-off zones. In addition to national and international motor sport events, concerts, club meetings and driver safety trainings take place on the Salzburgring. Experience the fascination of the racetrack with your own car during a Pistenclub Trackday Salzburgring.
